Exercise Being Civil

Everyone agrees against true philosophy, but it gets tough when personal stakes lie over the lying business.

Still, one must be willing to accept the truth.

Do not trade your intelligence for cheaper ignorance.

It doesn’t suit you as a human.

Everyone knows how to curse, and to a certain extent fight with others, but the one who restrains always makes other people’s hearts warm and respectful towards himself.

Being-civil means following the most difficult path in life.

When it’s easier to achieve something by simply lying, telling the truth and sacrificing personal interest isn't easier either.

But it is what honest and civil people do.

In Sindh, there is a viral infection of cheating culture.

Students pass their exams through WhatsApp groups.

Those who provide the material in their WhatsApp groups are their teachers and parents.

Whether they successfully achieve top marks through the cheating method or not; they can still go for another option, which is to directly pay the broker 120k and get an A1 grade.

You have to ask yourself a genuine question here.

Education is about liberation from a slave mentality, it helps turn human life towards happiness.

Education creates equality. How come cheating is good for anyone?

Is this smart, or are parents happily allowing the oppressor to take away the basic right from their children?

Exercise being civil, even if you can’t stop this menace, at least have animosity towards this culture. It’s no good to any person.

If you can’t stand against the wrong, the answer is always yes.

When walking on a path, make sure you walk on the right side.

Do not disturb the flow of traffic if you are a pedestrian; they deserve to have similar protocols as you would want car drivers to provide you.

Pakistan is not a walk-friendly country.

If you are a walking person, I know how you must be feeling.

But hey, we still have to do what is right. Always choose to be civil over rude.

When you come outside your living area and hit the streets, you will find there's barely any leisure activity for women.

Aren’t they human just like men?

Pakistan’s constitution provides women equal status to men yet women aren’t safe in open places.

That's a shame.

I’m not going to debate this but I must say, change your thoughts, it’s just that simple.

Women are equal to men in all business activities.

When you see the women on the street, don’t look into their eyes unless you have got any serious business with them.

Without any person's consent, looking into their eyes is called staring which is rude and uncivil.

Women don’t owe anyone anything to not being allowed to come outside and have a good time.

When a woman passes by, please don’t look behind your shoulder and catcall.

How would you feel being a man, if someone who is physically stronger than you stare at you and might even try touching your body?

Chose humility and be open to something that could uplift human status.

Never be a part of gossip conversation.

It is one of the most boring things humans have ever discovered.

I have used the word boring because it is to me, but the majority don’t even consider gossiping as something that needs an afterthought.

They simply go for it, not realizing they are only making simple matters further complicated.

Gossip is like a cigarette, you might be addicted to it and at certain locations enjoy doing it, but it won’t change the fact that it is killing your kidneys.

Gossip always takes place in a group, so next time when you sit in a group, exercise being civil and don’t engage in such conversation.
