The rich are in an advantageous position as they can easily approach with their powerful position to any person. Whereas the poor are occupied with their micro-level issues in life that they might never be able to trade their poverty for some personal interests. But the rich can trade their money to manipulate the system. The corrupt system shields the rich and punishes the poor. In an egalitarian society, the focus of policies is poor because he is an easy goat to sacrifice. The strong justice system and transparent legislation focus on facilitating the poor and most vulnerable strata of society.
